our approach

It is the mission of Carver County Chiropractic to provide hope and healing to the families of Carver County through nervous system focused chiropractic care. We offer a space for health and growth to flourish within our community. We desire the next generations to grow up knowing they are capable and strong!

what we believe:

We believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). That the Lord’s works are wonderful, and He has gifted us all this life.

We believe that healthy and strong families create healthy communities. That, as parents, you are handpicked to be stewards of your children and that you are playing a big role in the next generation.

We believe “mom gut” tells a story that is real and valid. No one knows your child better than you, and you deserve to be heard.

We believe that you are meant to feel good and function well.

We believe good things take time, and that healing is not only possible but expected here!

what is chiropractic?

Your body is designed to communicate, adapt, and heal.

At the center of that process is your nervous system (your brain, spinal cord, and nerves). It acts like the communication system for your entire body, constantly taking in information from the world around you and helping your body respond appropriately. Chiropractic care is about helping that communication work as well as it can.

Through gentle, specific adjustments to the spine, we provide input to the nervous system that can help the brain and body communicate more effectively and respond to stress more efficiently. And your nervous system experiences a lot of stress every day.

Three Types of Stress

  • Physical stress
Birth, falls, sports, injuries, accidents, poor posture, and the everyday bumps and tumbles of life.

  • Emotional stress
School, work, relationships, big life changes, anxiety, and the many demands of everyday life.

  • Chemical stress
Poor nutrition, environmental pollutants, medications, and other factors that can place additional stress on the body.

When your body is under stress, it can become harder for the nervous system to adapt and respond the way it was designed to. That's where chiropractic comes in. By providing specific input to the spine and nervous system, chiropractic care may help the body better handle the stressors of everyday life and create healthier patterns of movement and function.

Simply Put...

Chiropractic helps your brain and body communicate better, so your body can better adapt to everything life throws its way.

CLA INSiGHT scans

We believe that your health journey is unique and specific to you. Along with getting to know you and your health history, we chose to use advanced technologies that are safe, non-invasive, and painless to get a deeper look into how your nervous system is overall functioning.

The CLA INSiGHT scans include three scans:

Heart Rate Variability

This scan gives us a good, general view of how your body is adapting to stressors. It shows us if you’re more in fight or flight vs. rest + digest, along with how much energy reserves your body has.

Thermal

Our rolling thermal scan takes temperatures along your spine. Similar to skin getting warm around a healing wound, our nerves will have a heat response if there is interference. This measures depth, by showing us if the nerves to organs and glands are optimally functioning.

sEMG

sEMG (surface electromygrophy) shows us how well our neuro-motor system is functioning. It measures energy output within the muscles along the spine. We look at things like total energy output, symmetry, + pattern. This is great in showing us how well your brain is handling your body’s energy.
